Pregnancy Chiropractic in Carindale

Pregnant coupleHelping expecting mums have the healthiest, most comfortable pregnancy possible through natural chiropractic care is something we love to do at Life Chiropractic Centre. Our experienced chiropractor, Dr Matthew, has adjusted hundreds of pregnant women – including his own wife when she was carrying their three children.

If you’re ready to enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible, we’re ready to help!

Benefits of Chiropractic Care

Your body is going through a tremendous amount of change as you create a new human, which can be physically difficult to adapt to. Chiropractic care helps to restore and maintain optimal alignment of the spine and pelvis, which leads to a more comfortable pregnancy with greater ease of movement and less pain.

Since everything your nervous system is going through affects your baby, keeping you healthier and more comfortable means your baby can be healthier and more comfortable.

There have also been studies that show that women who receive regular chiropractic care during pregnancy have easier labours and shorter delivery times – which makes the birth process less traumatic for both you and your baby.

Customised Care

We tailor care to your individual needs and circumstances. Our techniques are gentle, and we work with your changing body to ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible during your adjustments. The frequency of your visits will typically increase closer to your delivery date, so we may help ensure that your body is ready and in the best possible condition for birth.

We have decades of experience helping expecting mums, and we’re here to listen and guide you through the process as well. Sometimes our pregnant patients need reassurance most, and we’re happy to be here for you!

Postpartum Care

Even the easiest birth is physically demanding, and we like to see our new mums as soon as they feel up to it. Your ligaments are still loose from the hormone relaxin, and the sooner we help restore optimal alignment to your spine and pelvis, the easier it will be.
